These slides are from the estate of Gilbert H. Jackson who was heavily involved in the World Boxing Association in the late 40's early 50's and served as president in 1957-58. Included in this set are pictures from both Milwaukee and Madison Square Garden between 1951 and 1954. There are separate pictures of Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, and Willie Pep each in business suits at a dinner or banquet. There are ring shots of Ernie Durando, Kid Gavilan and Fitzie Pruden, Joe Giardello, and Sandy Saddler. There are additional ones that I could not identify or decipher the writing. There is one that does not have writing on it but there is no mistaking that it is Joe Lewis standing on the mat outside the ropes in his street clothes. These are all in truly excellent condition. I looked at each of the 18 slides individually through the Kodak Stereoscope just to double check Please feel free to ask any questions, thanks for looking and have a great day
