National baseball hall of fame cooperstown ny 1939 octagonal medal token coin
Vintage National Baseball Hall of Fame Cooperstown Medallion Token Coin Medal Description: Offering a octagon medallion/medal in honor of the dedication of National Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, NY museum in 1939. One side has a very detailed engraving of the museum, while the other has a quote from Kenesaw M. Landis, the first commissioner of Baseball, 1939. This medal is in good vintage condition. There is some light tarnishing to the metal, commensurate with age, otherwise no damage (see photos). Measurements for medallion: 1 1/4” in length and 1 1/4" in width. With hole in medallion makes me think it was a keychain souvenir. Unique collectible. Thanks for looking here!
