Michael disalle, former ohio governor, bronze medal, 1982, medallic art co.
This is a bronze medal commemorating the former Governor of Ohio, Michael DiSalle. The medal is 2-3/4 inches (70 millimeters) in diameter. The medal was cast in 1982 by the Medallic Art Company of New York, and distributed by the Presidential Art Medals Company of Englewood, Ohio. The medal has a few minor edge dings; otherwise the condition is good. We lived in Sandusky, Ohio during the 1950s when DiSalle was governor. The main department store in downtown Sandusky at that time was LaSalle's, and as a little kid, we somehow conflated DiSalle and LaSalle, concluding that the governor owned the store. That's kids for you. Buyer to pay $6.00 for Priority Mail shipping within the U.S.; international shipping at cost. We will combine purchases to reduce shipping charge. We accept PayPal only.
