1936 berlin summer olympic games xi olympiad pins pin day badge lot - german
You are bidding on two 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics Games souvenir pins. The pins are used and are in good condition with limited signs of wear and no enamel damage. Both pins have the typical German pin and open catch fastener that are in good working order and both pins have maker marks. The 1936 Olympic Games (XI Olympiad) was held in Berlin, Nazi Germany from 1 – 16 August 1936. Although the Germans did win the most medals it was overshadowed by the athletic prowess of the American Jesse Owens who won three individual gold medals and a fourth as a member of the 4 × 100-metre relay team.
