1911 n.y. rowing club medal, nassau lone star award, enameled & gold filled.
Beautiful 1911 Sculling Award Medal, "Nassau Lone Star Club / Mixed Eight Oared Shells, Joseph Katz, July 22, 1911." The obverse pictures two scullers holding oars, forming a "V" for Victory, and the reverse has the award inscription. The Nassau Lone Star Club was located in the Bronx, New York City. Gold Filled and Enameled, irregular edge, 35 mm, and excellent condition except for a chip on the white shirt enamel. The maker is Lambert Bros.
